I seem to remember that visits to the barber were compulsory during 'prep' years, and could be demanded by housemasters in the upper school.

Next to the tuck shop, which was run by the lovely Mrs Tickner !

I missed doing National Service by just a few years, and in many ways regret it ! My older cousins all joined up before being called up. Is this an 'Unofficial visit' for the Retreat ?? When I spoke to The School Orifice, they said it wasn't open to O.B's !! Yes, I was wondering about that. I haven't been to the Retreat for a few years, and wouldn't mind having a look this year...... Well, I don't see any problems to a few of us goi...
