The work you are doing is incredible Rob. You deserve proper recognition.

It is truly shocking that the school won't even pay for counselling for victims. It may claim to be reaching out to the victims, but it isn't reaching very far.
Short arms and exceedingly long pockets in my view.

Is that what prompted your forum name, Mr Ed?
Perhaps 7 years of regular doses of horse meat have had serious side-effects. :D

wurzel,

That's a very good point worth noting.

Well done Rob.

I know we have been in touch by email for ages.

Let's push on with this. True OB's are with you all the way. Apologists know they can't win any more.

Re: INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS AND VAT

I don't see where horse meat etc comes into this equation.

I have eaten and fully enjoyed horse meat in France. How this affects tax and Independent schools is beyond me.

Accountability, integrity, honesty.....didn't the Judge make comments about the SMT last year that mentioned the absence of these?
That would be a question for Rob T and Richardb, though I think you are right.

So why don't we agree. A total lack of communication or response is an admition of guilt .

Re: Roger Martin trial & verdict

Thank you DazedandConfused I will be posting now as my issue is not with Martin or any of the others, even the person who abused me. My issue is with CH and why it all happened - for now some 35 years according to Martin's evidence but more like 38 years and probably more. I have decided to keep th...

Re: Roger Martin - trial

I suggest we all cool down. As far as Vilified's indiscretion is concerned, that was probably the norm at the time. Housemaster Coleridge B, N.T. Fryer could be very vindictive on the rugby field in the 1960's. Times have changed. Today, things I witnessed on the field of play at school would now be...

Re: Roger Martin - trial

NO - I'm not going into my previous employment with Surrey Constabulary or to mention specific incidents. I HAVE signed the Official Secrets Act. YES I am 'old school ' in my views, as my age will prove. I am NOT vilifing Vilified. I admire his open honesty in his posts. Maybe this thread should be ...

All I can say in reply, vilified, that maybe teaching was not a career for you. Possibly the armed forces ? Even they are taught restraint these days.
This is an unworthy comment, in my opinion.
Why ?

Re: Roger Martin - trial

Maybe Vilified should have thought of seeking a career in the law rather than teaching.

On second thoughts.........
