Re: Sentencing of Garry William Dobbie
Me neither, and I wouldn't even try to speak to her but her clerk might be able indicate (roughly) when they were expecting the next trial to happen.

Re: Sentencing of Garry William Dobbie
You could possibly try calling the clerk to Eloise Marshall at 23 Essex Street to ask if she will be prosecuting once more. If yes, they may have a rough idea of timeline, they may not. They may not tell you anything. Otherwise it is a waiting game.

Re: Phone boxes

Re: Did anyone know?
I started in 89 & witnessed a boy on my year being slippered. In fact, the teacher in question asked for a sample of slippers from the rest of us and then selected one with a hard sole. Not saying this was a regular occurrence but corporal punishment did not end with Baker.

Re: Letter to the Head Master
Rob, Firstly, amazing that you are addressing the council although it's obviously in circumstances that I'm sure you'd rather not find yourself. When is this happening? Secondly, I believe that the minutes of Council meetings are now posted online on the City of London website (just google Christ's ...

Re: Letter to the Head Master
And to add that, if money is an issue, i would try approaching some of the top law firms and asking if they will take you on pro bono. Most large law firms do pro bono work and a case such as yours is exactly the type of thing they'll take on. If successful, you'll likely have a junior solicitor or ...
