Julian,

just a suggestion. This sad thead should be moved to General Chat CH.

Some users may not bother with non CH matters on a CH site.

[I've moved the topic over. Thanks! Mod]

As another from the same era you pose what to me is an interesting question. I certainly experienced some real lows during my time at CH but equally I loved the sport and living in such beautiful countryside. I also made some really good mates who I am still in contact with. One other negative, whic...

Sad to read this news.

I never met him, but was very impressed with his courtesy and professionalism when we corresponded over a contribution I submitted to The Blue a few years ago.

Rugby England v Argentina

This match was understandably overshadowed by the Lions debacle.

However Andrew Higgins came on as a 64th minute replacement.

Anyone know if this match counts as England A or has he got a full cap now?

Confused................(CH Club subs)

At this time of year I normally pay up the BSB and CH Club subs. I've sent the BSB off but as it appears the CH Club is no more and I know sweet fanny adams about the Association I've not sent the other cheque. Wendy Killner told me things were in limbo and to send a cheque to the Partnership Office...

JR you refer to latin with Basil Gregory in the Prep.

Were you ever at the wrong end of a gym shoe wielded by him?

Tiger Tim

Today on a bit of a whim
I followed our Tiger Tim
But to my dismay
He really didn't play
Now that's the end of him!

What a sad thread. In my day a boy called Richard Sears Mullins was found hanged, by "Bomber" Nicholson if I remember rightly, in Leigh Hunt A downstairs toilets. He was later buried in Itchingfield Cemetery. We were told it was "an experiment that went wrong" and I never subsequ...

I'm struggling to recall Pegleg's name. Pearson or Pearsall comes to mind but I rather think he was the School Dentist. The Wardrobe chap was Mr Henderson. He was a National Standard Roadwalker in his youth, I believe with Steyning AC which had a good reputation for producing high standard road walk...

Tim, Look under DISSOLVED companies on the Companes House website. Hedgemanor Limited appears there. It appears that a list of members was filed on 23/5/97. For £1 it is possible to obtain a copy of that list. Looking at the Trustees of the Charity, disclosed on another thread, at least one has p...
