Timeshare

Among the 500,000 users of timeshare in the UK, must be a number of Old Blues. Some of you may remember that until March this year I was chairman of TATOC (the Timeshare Association) and I thought you might be interested to know that we have just published the autumn issue of Sharetime magazine - ou...

Re: Gemma Newlands

I am still in occasional touch with Gemma - She is blossoming at Oxford (reading classics) and is travelling widely and making a new life for herself. I'm sure we all wish her well.

Re: Sailing in Cornwall

Anyone free to sail to the Isles of Scilly from Penzance on Wednesday? Weather looks good and a few days on these Paradisical islands is a real tonic.

Sailing in Cornwall

DBTS wishes to celebrate his promotion to Commodore of the CH Cruising and Sailing Club by inviting any Old Blues who would like to sail in Cornwall to get in touch with him. Although El Animado has been sold, Moonshot is a lively little yacht than can accommodate a couple plus the skipper. Just at ...

Target for boarders is, I believe, 870 - day pupils target about 25, I think.

Re: Corporal Punishment by CH Teaching staff

His colleague in Preb B - my house master - was G.W. ("Great Whacker") Pink. But he was, I think, a gentler soul.

Re: Corporal Punishment by CH Teaching staff

I don't think Peter Austin Jones ever beat anyone. I would be surprised if Michael Cherniavsky did, though as a senior housemaster, he would have been sorely tempted. Was anyone here ever beaten by Chern? Or Tim Law? Not sure which Mr Jones that was; if it was the senior housemaster of Prep A he ce...

Congratulations to Jonathan and Chloe

Congratulations to Jonathan Eastburn (PeA/GrW 05-07) and Chloe Mahoney (ColB/GrE 05-07) whose engagement will be announced in the Times tomorrow. Ever the romantic, Jonathan took Chloe to an unknown destination - it turned out to be Venice, but Chloe didn't know that until she was in the departure l...
