There was a Cambridge rowing Blue in the 50's.I think he also became President. Name began with D I have recalled the name. I see David Norgrove (Thornton B 1959-67), former chair of the Pensions Regulator and current chair of PensionsFirst, the Family Justice Board and the Low Pay Commission, has been awarded a knighthood in the New Year Honours. Congratulations to him.

Francis (“Fred”) Haselhust (no “r”) died at CH before retirement, while he was still teaching and senior housemaster of Th A in the early 1950s. One possible candidate (three syllables, begins with H) might be Jack Hood-Phillips , who taught at CH for one term (Lent 1925) as a postgraduate student-in-training and set up the CH Scout troop, which suggests a particular involvement with junior boys. I see Stephen White (Middleton A 1968-75, Governor) is Liberal Democrat candidate for Bishop Auckland, while John Perry (Lamb A 1961-69) is UKIP candidate for Havant. Do we know of any others?
