With a driver as charming as Jeeves It`s a joy to be feeling the breeze In your hair as he drives You feel you`re alive.... .....and just pray the police aren`t on the road!! But he`s given up driving at speed And from now will be taking much heed of the limits ,you see if it starts with a three he...

And please note the amazing red Yaris in the background, which does not have soapsuds round it!!! Amazing? Maybe if it was a higher spec model. An early R100 with minimal rust is very unusual and worth a post. What's wrong with having soapsuds around it? Gives a good snow/ice effect as pointed out.

I`ve been driven at 110+ in a small car - pretty frightening in a way - as a passenger you need to have confidence in the driver! I'm keeping quiet this time. Were you the driver? Yes, it stuck to the road quite well and got there pretty quick too. I no longer drive at high speeds. On recent holida...

Me and Mr Friend mus have been the only Genesis fans at CH when I was there... Hmmm, I can't imagine many pupils willing to admit to being Genesis fans; so you may not have been the only two at the time. I used to listen to early Genesis at CH fairly regularly (Trespass, Nursery Cryme etc). Discove...

I live in Brighton and very rarely see famous people... when I was working in one of Brighton's leading record collectors shops the 'famous people' used to come in on days that I wasn't there (I missed the opportunity of meeting Brian Wilson)! Over the last two years I have only spotted a few: Mark ...

OK, I promise these are the last FZ videos - only just found them and decided they are worth sharing. The first is an amazing version of "Peaches en Regalia" with some fast guitar stuff. This man is one of the most underrated guitar players - it is my mission to convert some people to Fran...

Here are my offerings to this thread: Both videos are Frank Zappa related. Yes, I am a huge fan. I suppose you could classify both as "odd", so they must qualify to enter this post. The first is "The Purple Lagoon" from late 70s American TV. Excellent band line-up... including a ...

Anyone that knows me well will be aware that I have several favourite cars. My number one favourite has to be the Mercedes 300SL Gullwing circa '54-'57. I have seen about three of them, a very rare car indeed. After recently watching a car restoration TV program I have become quite interested in the...

My avatar is a great piece of artwork by the late Neon Park. It is most likely to be a parody of a particular American electric razor advert. This painting titled 'Weasels Ripped My Flesh' was used by Frank Zappa on the 1970 Mothers of Invention LP of the same name. Well worth a listen if you're int...

They were lucky, they couldn't hear the cold callers due to all the white noise and distortion!

Antonio Meucci (1808-1896) or Philipp Reis (1834-1874) are considered to be the inventors of the first telephone. Bell patented the phone in 1876.
