Re: MEMORABLE THEATRE OR MUSIC CONCERT AT CH

Oh happy days in the theatre. Still got a lot of my scripts up in the attic (well, my parents' attic - really must get them). Did two Germany tours too - and yes, the old 5ps were still being used as 1DM pieces to get fags out of machines in the nineties too. Getting older, I'm beginning to apprecia...

Oh. Sorry to have misled you.

Didn't realise that city lawyers had uniforms back then. But I guess they still do have a kind of uniform. Barristers in offensive shirts with double cuffs and *no* pocket and suits; solicitors in slightly less offensive shirts as above and more dull suits.

Cheers CJ Plum - We're getting men to do the moving for us this time. It seemed the way ahead and actually, compared to hiring a van and both of us taking the time of work etc; it actually works out better value - especially on the sanity and marital harmony scale. I spent my weekend looking at kitc...

OOo... After Uni, I played in the Surrey League for a year. It's a fab game. The mixed matches were enormous fun. I wish it was a bit more popular here in London. I first played at Primary School (in Horsham) and also played at CH.

Waterloo - super. For those of you who are scared of coming South of the River - it's actually very convenient to get to. It's right behind the National Theatre with loads of nice restaurants et c nearby for dinner afterwards. Can I dare to recommend the Kings Arms http://www.pubs.com/pub_details.cf...

Oo.. Bishop's Finger. That's close to the Smithfield Bar and Grill. A jolly nice restaurant. Or if you're really looking to impress someone (and I mean really impress) then I can highly recommend the Bleeding Heart Restaurant off Hatton Gardens. Top notch French food complete with patronising sommel...

Oh Plum... didn't you know that Gabriel appeared to Tigger and the heffalump in the Hundred Acre wood to warn him not to eat the wise men as they passed through on their way from the Orient.

I hate Winterval more. And people who try to wangle discounts because "It's Christmas" when actually it's still Advent and stupid perfume adverts on the telly and people who put up decorations on 28th November and silly baby outfits with reindeer antlers and that bl**dy Ocado advert on Cla...

I first came into contact with the chaplains on my squits. I can remember sitting in Whites garden with a couple of the other Barnes A squits who were terribly homesick (eventually they both left at the end of the Michaelmas term). Patrick Duncan was very sageful and friendly and most importantly - ...
