oohhh posture badges. I had forgotten them. well, I never ever managed to get one which is a bit odd. Now people at work sometimes comment on how good my posture is. mind you, when you're 5ft 1, you tend not to slouch lest others think you've disappeared altogether. Alex - I'll email you privately a...

I remember it being in the basement of the Science block but there were some windows high up in one or two of the walls. I also have the feeling that staff really didn't come down there so we could do what we liked. Not that we were really subversive. sigh.

I've had email problems all week so am just catching up with this thread. Queenie Blench - now there was a wardrobe with style. When I was in the 6th form and doing Latin and Greek I saw rather a lot of her. All our classes were in the very oldest bit of the school - can't remember what it was calle...

And sometimes people think I'm much posher than I really am, assume middle class origins etc. And don't get me going on underwear! Let's just say that should I ever be knocked down by the proverbial bus I shall b...

Ah Sin City. I remember sitting down there listening to Riders on the Storm. And didn't my sister Ann paint some of the walls? or am I fantasising again?

Munch - how I recognise that comment about being eccentric! Sometimes I'm just burbling along being me at work, when I catch people looking at me v-e-r-y strangely ... So perhaps CH somehow made us more individual than we thought. My husband thinks I'm pathologically individual and is always saying ...

Munch - I remember you as a kind person! Alex - expelling my sister Ann was ridiculous. don't know how they thought it was going to help. what they ought to have seen was that she was very unhappy. on the other hand, I think Ann got what she wanted in the end - to go and live with my mum. she had le...

The Bonfanti twins

This is the first time I've really visited the site and was startled to see a reference to me (Su) and my twin (Ann) earlier on in this thread. I was in 5s 67-73 and Ann was in 6s 67-71. She got thrown out in the Upper 5th for a multitude of sins, culminating in going up to London on her own - and w...
