Re: Ken Grimshaw

It is subtle... On the one hand, a 'good education' should give someone 'critical thinking capabilities' in your view. ....whereas the rich experiences of CH and its world of corporal punishment, convicted and moved-on pedophiles, and management facilitation, has no influence on anyone. Which is a ...

I thought a good education was meant to give you critical thinking capabilities.
So, you now think that experience or education influences people. But experience does not influence people when it is experience of pedophiles at CH. Is that your position?
What...?

Re: Ben Breakwell convicted of abuse

I am not sure why you dismiss out of hand the notion that people who are abused become abusers. People who are abused are entitled to remain anonymous unless - like Rob - they choose to waive it. Sadly I have often come abusers admitting to having been abused. The abuse affects them in many differe...

Re: Ken Grimshaw

On Pe.A's pedophile perspective: Let's be clear, the only difference between grooming and seduction is the age of consent My comment about the ages of consent came with context. As I have already written, you need to read the subsequent paragraph of the post your quote came from, and try to underst...

Re: Ben Breakwell convicted of abuse

We don't know whether or not he was abused at school. There is no way of knowing. It may however emerge at his sentencing hearing that he was. Or maybe that he was not The fact that we don't know if he was doesn't mean he wasn't That was never the issue and the cause of the argument here. My point ...

Re: Ben Breakwell convicted of abuse

Thank you for this. When I spoke to Chief Constable York of Sussex police, one of the things he said is that 'we need to join the dots in any case'. Facts can be made obscure or re-imagined. It is often circumstantial evidence that proves a case. Putting dots together is a valid and important part ...

Re: Ben Breakwell convicted of abuse

Which may be the case. We will probably never know. But if he was abused at school it would offer a potential explanation. No one is saying that he was abused at the school. The bone of contention is whether it is likely he was schooled, influenced or manipulated into doing the things he did by eve...

robert totterdell wrote: Thu Aug 19, 2021 2:41 pm Out of interest, I was at CH from Sept 1969 to Jul 1976. When were you there? Did you have no knowledge of various issues with some (a small few) of the teachers and boys or girls? Were you there with Breakwell?
During the 90s. I knew of the teachers. I didn't know Breakwell personally.

Re: Ken Grimshaw

I think you should stop with the paedophile apologist shtick https://www.chforum.info/php/viewtopic.php?p=149627#p149627 Let's be clear, the only difference between grooming and seduction is the age of consent - I'm sure the techniques are remarkably similar. People have always fancied, and will al...

Re: Ben Breakwell convicted of abuse

Hard evidence is simply hard evidence and I have provided Sussex police with my HARD evidence. There is absolutely no issue as to whether individuals were influenced by events at the school at the time. Knowledge was widespread. When I started looking at the issues my question was 'did anyone know'...

Re: Ben Breakwell convicted of abuse

It's well recognised that those who are abused become abusers. Whether this happened to Breakwell may emerge at his sentencing hearing, although it is likely to buried away in a Probation report and not said out loud OK- but the issue in question was whether Breakwell was somehow influenced to do w...

Re: Ken Grimshaw

My point is to stick to the facts as we know them - nothing more, nothing less. You and others seem to be more concerned about reaching out for dots to link up and making up scenarios in your head. Pe.dophile A.pologist, is asking questions is verboten? You ask many. FYI - here is a fact, as we kno...

Re: Ben Breakwell convicted of abuse

And I was 11 when I was first abused - so what is your point? Breakwell may have developed desires later in life or he may have started to get these when young but not have moved on to people of his own age or older. He went for younger. The point is, that you seem to miss, is was he influenced whe...

Re: Ken Grimshaw

So what's your point, Pe.dophile A.pologist? (Aside from some kind of a dread concerning information on the topic of abuse?) Here are some strings from your previous messages with which to construct an attempt to disrupt the thread: "by the bye" "wept" "the only difference ...
