That's a bit of a p!sser, Wuppertal. It wasn't in Hartland, was it? no it wasn't in Hartland, people are more friendly here and there's a good chance I might have known the assailant :) ! It was in a rather empty Barnstaple town centre at about 11:15pm last Monday night. Thank you for that li...

Those lunatics who hit your car then drive off quick

Advice/thoughts desired from drivers please... The other night I was waiting harmlessly at a red light in a town when someone drove straight into the back of my car, damaging it not irreparably but certainly significantly - it cost me several hundred pounds to repair the damage, which as a student g...

Have you tried online banking? (of course that's if you've got access to the Internet?) The Barclays online banking service is pretty good, does everything you want and you can look at your statement whenever you like (and between any desired two dates you like) for free.

I heard Attila the Stockbroker quite by chance about two years ago on Radio 4, it was that programme called Off the Page with Matthew Parris, 11pm on Fridays if I remember rightly...well he was talking about how he went to boarding school and he loathed it and although he didn't mention it by name, ...

Thanks, John. This forum is open to all who wich to confess!!! :? I don't feel like I've been an Old Blue long enough to be able to confess to anything like that! Just because I still know the vast majority of the staff there still as I only left two years ago this July. I won't be admitting to any...

I really want to drive on the motorway! I passed my test last year and using the family car am allowed to go wherever I want on my own, to the other end of the country if I want, anywhere...as long as I don't use the motorway. This is incredibly annoying as everything takes much longer. I appreciate...

I saw this on the BBC football website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/thereporters/mihirbose/2007/05/what_lay_behind_the_west_ham_d.html It shows that one reason for them not being deducted points was that it may have had an effect on the Premiership title itself...imagine that there was still everythi...

Feel sorry for you Mid A....and for Alan Pardew too....I'm a West Ham fan you see, we've almost completed our escape this season, but I don't think Pardew should've been sacked (from West Ham I mean), he's a brilliant manager. At least he knows how to get promoted again  Oh, as a fan of one of...

Funny, I coincidentally was browsing on Youtube a minute ago and a link came up for some truly bizarre clips from this very American show about phobias, featuring people who have the most bizarre (and admittedly quite funny) phobias you can imagine: Mustard (though the first half of this clip shows ...
