I read your history of Adge - addressed if I'm not very much mistaken to someone I knew rather well......
I'd forgotten that we sung that one - not surprised we dropped it tho...
For some reason my 12 year old daughter knows that song.....worrying that is.

Wasnt it Sean Webb?? Maybe I'm getting old but I can't remember ever hearing them play - I suppose I must have done.

RR said "No recordings, unfortunately. In hindsight, and with the theatre's equipment, we really should have done...." Oh - you were pissed then - when you wrote that, were you. Sorry - I know this thread is nearly as old as you - but there WAS a recording made and I believe it is safely i...

I think I saw a film called Genevive - but it was definately nothing to do with a car. I thought it was about a couple of lesbians and a bloke playing the piano (complicated plot). RR mentioned Emmanuelle - I presume you are referring to the Dominion at Tottenham Court Road?? And wasnt it on before ...

How did he get the name "Bwana"? Actually its before my time. It may be because he 'sounded' like he had spend a lot of time in Africa. I'm not sure..... As regards punishments - I was really pretty good - I think. OK so I smoked a bit and had the odd drink - I got a few slippers from the ...

I thought he'd say "shake a leg". And he did whack us - although it has to be said he would let you go and find a gym shoe so you would find the smallest possible.... Have to mention a couple of other things from this thread. Thanks first to the inspired Q&A - what does a breakfast clu...

No - afraid not. The Aristocats reference was the scene - not the music. But the piano did play (not quite concert pitch tho). And yes - of course it was out of bounds. As for sheep...the tend to plummet because they can not fly. If you imagine a sheep balancing on a high branch ready to take flight...

Wasn't it some bloke called Suttcliffe. I saw him eat a daddy long legs once.

A truly wonderful collection - in a cabinet on the wall on the right as you went in. He let me select his weapon - if you pardon the expression - there were about 5 or 6 - I think. I'm sure that others may have better memories than me - I only had the privilege once from him - and as my brother taug...

RR wrote: Caned by headmaster (along with same member of this forum) for drinking down the Tube. I think there was a little more to that story than was evident in the post - and good old Toad - I was still pissed when he caned me (if its the time I'm thinking of) and as a result it was all a bit of ...

Just a vague memory but I think we did. And if I needed encouragement - I'm sure that it taught me a useful life skill....when you're about to plummet from a high tree, grab hold of a branch on your way down. In life, if you don't take risks, you'll never fall out of the tree. Maybe the trees were p...
