Re: Sheila and Peter Higgins - character references for Gary Dobbie
People provide cover for abuse. Scazza provided a summary of examples here:
https://www.chforum.info/php/viewtopic. ... 15#p143288
If the "sudden departures" continue - the abuse continues.
If the abuse continues - the temptation to provide cover continues.

The school and its staff were aware of problems for decades. See, for example: https://www.chforum.info/php/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=5219&p=142644#p142644 ...much of this site is devoted to analyzing who knew what and when about abuse and bullying (and there is much to read). Refunding fees make...

Re: Corporal Punishment by CH Teaching staff
1. If you made a video of a prepubescent boy in thin pajamas being bent over in a middle aged teacher's study and beaten with a slipper or a cane (with a run up, 'tangents', etc.) and put that video on YouTube or Facebook - you would find yourself quickly in trouble. 2. If you took some Polaroid pho...

1. Are pensions paid to ex-employees convicted of child abuse and rape? 2. Are pensions paid to ex-employees who turned a blind eye to child abuse? 3. That the children of staff did not have the same experience as other children is a fact and not speculation. (The speculation was on the chances of being sexually abused being zero for such children, I know of no public information to contradict that speculation. But it may have happened). Abetting ...

Corporal punishment was likely reduced - because at some point parent and teacher might have to discuss the topic. They were not bullied - because the chances of ...
