How do you think you would have turned out if......

How different would you be if you had gone to a really rough inner city school?

May I veer slightly off topic please?

Is it right that council tax payers in London should have to pay more in order to fund the staging of the Olympics? I personally don't think it is. If it is for the benefit of the country, surely we all should pay via our taxes.

Watched it last night and really enjoyed it. The trouble with tv, it usually shows off all the faults and there were definitely a few shakey voices here and there, but he is getting on a bit now though. I also liked the fact that he didn't just concentrate on his new album, there were plenty of old ...

Do you like Christmas, have you started buying/preparing for it yet? I actually like the build up better than the actual day now. I love to hear carols, see the decorations, and in general, people seem happier and more friendly for a week or so. Christmas day is so special when you are a child or wh...

As we're in catty mode, can I just tell a little story that is absolutely true. I used to have two cats, one ginger tom and his sister, a black cat. Unfortunately the tom was killed by a dog, but that's another story. They were called Tiger and Sooty. I once took them to the vets for their injection...

In my humble opinion, Bridge, and The Boxer from the same album are two of the finest pieces of music ever written. No, Shoz; Albatross (Fleetwood Mac) comes in as finest- I'll allow "Brige over Troubled Waters" as second. Paul Simon is in the top rank, yes but don't forget The Outlaws wh...

Safe to say that I don't think he will ever do another Bridge Over Troubled Water. Perhaps there is a God after all! Perhaps you're not quite as big a fan as I am of Paul. In my humble opinion, Bridge, and The Boxer from the same album are two of the finest pieces of music ever written. (Sor...

It certainly is the 'old' Paul Simon at his best. He went sightly off track with Songs from the Capeman, didn't like all the swearing in that. But Surprise isn't a bad album. Safe to say that I don't think he will ever do another Bridge Over Troubled Water.

I would have loved to have gone to that gig! Did he play anything from Graceland? His new CD is meant to be good as well... He did Diamonds from the Soles of her Shoes and also the title track from Gracelands. Gracelands just has to be the best track from that album in my opinion. Throughout the en...
