Hi RoryRichard Ruck wrote:He doesn't teach any more - Toby flogs drugs for a living.....Rory wrote:Toby - are you teaching in Exeter ?? - I think my daughter is teaching down there as well!!!!! Can't remember where tho...
Sorry not to reply sooner, but I've been away in the smoke. I got thrown out of teaching (at Collyer's) 8 years ago - made redundant due to budget cuts, which is when I turned to drugs! Moved to Exeter 4 years ago, but regular trips to Horsham as my eldest is now on the LE (in BarnesA!!). Talk about small world, I met Rams at the recent Col B reunion & discovered his eldest was at Exeter University & her tutor was a friend of mine. I can't believe you have offspring old enough to be teaching - where does she work? It would be so bizarre if she were teaching my offspring!!!!!!!

But it is in Exeter......
Good to hear from you after all these years - strangely - the last time I saw you was, I think, RR's wedding when you made a rather fine speech about Biggus Dikkus etc.etc.

St James High School is on the road out towards Polsoe, near the roundabout of Old Tiverton Road and Union Road.Rory wrote:I think it's St James High School - I don't know where that is tho.Toby Kibble wrote:I can't believe you have offspring old enough to be teaching - where does she work? I love that photo of David in his white evening gear and the dark moustache. He looks so smooth! Is there an obituary on any of the school sites yet?

Re: David Elliott R.I.P.
Just looking at the Old Blues Yellow Pages on the CHA website and the entry on DGE is just a link to the Rikkyo School. I personally would like to see something remembering him and his illustrious career at CH, supported by the indefatiguable Ann. There were some wonderful eulogies at the funeral from people from all walks of his life. Surely we must be able to cobble something together? What do peeps think?

Couldn't agree more.
How about approaching Bob Sillett for starters?
