No - it means we have diverted from the topic and I have transferred to the Diversion thread to try and keep this topic unsullied (CH memorabilia on ebay). My answer to you is written in that thread just before the crayfish.

You are also advised to search on 'Christ Hospital' both in title and in the item description....
There is a nice medal (for Arithmetic, Second Prize - or something) on at the moment, which I am watching. It is (I think) over-rated by the seller (who is selling it in dollars not pounds), but there is a bid on it from an amateur archivist in Hertford, ('hertsman'), who has a particular interest in CH/Hertford. He seems to have a lot of money to spend.. but I don't think this is a Hertford medal!
Watch this space.
Very occasionally (like my kiff bowl a couple of weeks ago, and the sampler last week) really special items do appear on eBay. Over the last couple of years I have acquired several - and as I have said elsewhere on this Forum, they will all be willed to the Museum at Horsham when I am no longer around (that's if the Museum wants them/has moved back to being on a real Museum footing!)
I did see the railway sign and decided against bidding on it.. but I will watch it to see if it might go down for a song and, if so.......... But I agree, its plastic and looks tacky.
I'm much more proud of my Goss CH-crested pig that I won a couple of months ago. How many other Forum users have a porcelain pig, with the school crest on its back?!

Interestingly I have a sign from Christ's Hospital station in metal (from Network South East era I guess) that says 'When ticket office closed, please use gate!'

No idea how I got that... *whistles*
