What was Jack Bailey secretary of then? Was it the TCCB?

I think that partly was causing my confusion.

Both Jack Bailey and Lt Col John Stephenson were Secretary of the MCC - but obviously not at the same time!
For those interested I can confirm today that The Band will be playing at Lords on Sun 1st July between innings in the England v West Indies one dayer. (approx. 2.15)

Yes - it was the above-mentioned Dennis Silk.
