I'm sure you'll have a great time, Idgie. It looks like an excellent, and happy school.

Which houses are you all in? They would just have been names to me before OB Day, but having located 5's Mons' Board, I've become a Barnes A fan :)

And the first blog is up...

I must say, the weather was certainly excellent during IW this year. I certainly made the most of it to Certainly Not Go Up Sharpenhurst On A Sunday Morning! Oh No, Not Me, That's No Allowed!

Was good though.

There is a truly wonderful picture of Idgie on her Facebook, as I am not her 'friend' I cannot comment but she looks splendid in her uniform. Perhaps it could be posted here so everyone can see it.

Doesn't she look great?

No chance of hiding in a crowd with that hairunfortunately

Very pretty.
Oh dear , I hear Miss Blench(Latin monster teacher) crying to Jupiter for Diane Parkes and her delightfully unrestrained hair to be contained by a large number of 'Kirby grips'. I never knew what these were but imagine they were symbolic of supressing your individuality. Go Sister...!

Great to see you Idgie, I think that most, if not all, of the Hertford contingent here are just jealous of your chances!

I was expecting to see hair of a wilder colour! I can't see anything wrong with yours but we certainly could not have worn it loose like that!

Miss Blench was frequently in need of industrial quantities if Kirby grips when she put her hair up before it was really long enough, and had a sort of trailing crest which bobbed up and down when she scuttled about like a demented chicken.
Your hair Idgie, great though it is, would have driven most of our staff into a frenzy. Make the most of your god luck!

When I was at CH some of the more daring girls used a hair dye called "Hint of a Tint". It was said that if you left it on too long then your hair would go green.

Mine never did.

I meant that unfortunately you can't hide in a crowd, not that it is an unfortunate colour, I think it is lovely.

I never did it that colour at school but at uni and after my hair was all colours of the rainbow, not all at once, I wasn't a punk.
