OBs will be saddened to hear that Kate Davidson, Health Centre nurse for 20 years, died yesterday morning after a long illness

I heard about this today, but have to say I never knew about the illness - though I did notice I wasn't seeing her around the HC much. That's very sad

Very sad news. I will always remember her as she rushed me to Crawley hospital in the nick of time when I had appendicitis when no other nurse would believe me as they thought I was just trying to get off school. My thoughts are with those close to her.

I am so sad to hear this news; she was one of the kindest ladies I have ever met.

My daughter was very poorly and hospitalised from CH a few years ago and Kate made a horrible and distressing situation so much easier to deal with.

My thoughts go out to her family and may she rest in peace.

oh no - all the best wishes to her family. was probably the only person who gave me sympathy when i felt v dodgy after a flu jab!
