Do you receive "Housey!" regularly?

Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, but that's still CH related.

Just a quick straw-poll of who receives "Housey!" (the partnership newsletter from CH) - will give a good indication of how successfully their reaching all Old Blues. In theory it should go to all Old Blues...

The latest copy should have hit your door mats in the last few days.
I'm planning to scan-in the majority of the articles and post on here over the weekend, for those who haven't received it, if people want it?

Edit:- I've scanned in the Spring 2005 Housey, it can be found here:-

Haven't told them my new address so don't expect to get it. Never found it that interesting anyway.

Although the quality seems very good, I find it a bit like a 'Party Manifesto'

I sometimes wonder what ISN'T being printed in it !

Nope, i don't get it/anything from CH.
Yes they kicked me out, but if they want anything back from me,
(which could happen),
they'll have to try harder...

Are expelled people or early leavers regarded as Old Blues by the school?
What do you classify as an 'Early Leaver' ?

I decided to 'Walk' after 'O' levels, no matter what ! Upset the family, but I'd decided to find out what the REAL world was like !

I suppose leaving on a year other than at the end of your G.E. or Grecians when you get given a bible.
After the School had accepted that I wasn't going to return, I was summoned to collect my Leavers Bible in person, from C.M.E. Seaman.

What sweet joy THAT was.

For those that want to be kept up to date, why not send the Orifice an E-Mail ?

May I ask why you were kicked out?

Bl**dy hell, Shoz, this was posted nine months ago. What's suddenly aroused your curiosity?

Is the 'punishments' section of your scrapbook looking a bit empty??

If you remember Richard, when I first joined the forum it was suggested that I use the search facility and I would be able to find out anything I wanted from that, and that is exactly what I am doing. I don't remember anyone saying 'but only use threads that are less than a month old'. Am I not allowed to read old threads then?

And as for your constant put-downs and the general way in which you try to be-little everything I have to say, it really is getting quite tedious.

There you go, another excuse to call me paranoid, you've called me everything else since I joined - go ahead :x

Shoz, if you cannot take the acerbic humour and sharp wit which is endemic and indeed generic to a CH education without immediately feeling agressed, then you really should not expose yourself to it....

And may I say that it is simply not done to ask someone why they were thrown out of CH ?? IMHO....

Richard is not putting you down - or else Mary & I would have died of paranoid consumption ages ago!

Well, Shoz, you really do take all this a bit seriously, don't you?

It's commonly known as 'banter' - you should try it sometime.

If you find it too tedious, you could always use the 'ignore' button.

How I'll miss our little chats!

All I can say is, your idea of banter and mine are obviously different. I don't mean to offend anyone but on reading a lot of your past comments to me they are generally written in a 'take the p*ss' type of attitude. I am only here to try and make some friends and learn about CH, not to be ridiculed.
