RIP James Herbertson

James sadly committed suicide last month. He was hit by a train at Crawley station on the 11th April.

My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time for them. He was a good friend whilst I was at school and sadly we lost touch soon after I left.

I don't have a great deal of further information. But I am informed that he was suffering from mental ill-health for quite a long period of time leading up to his untimely death.

He was on my year and I knew him a little, we spent an afternoon in Arundel during a holiday once. To have another from our cohort dying by suicide is just awful. I've been thinking of him every day since I heard the news of his death.

Sad news indeed. He was obviously after my time.

I did read the news report on a local web-site, but there was no name or details printed.
