CH uniforms

Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, but that's still CH related.

Just to compare eras : my brother was at CH from 64 to 69 ( I think) , and I can't ever remember his buckle being turned to the back. And I have photos of us with Andy PJ, who was further up the school, and his buckle is in front

On the other hand, when my son went to CH in '90, he explained to me that squits had to wear their buckles at the front, and that you were allowed to turn it further up the school ( this is how I remember it, anyway) ... like a privilege.

The army tried it at Aldershot but CH cadets were so immune to it they set off fire extinguishers inside the Challenger tanks in protest. MOD were not happy bunnies!

Thought I had better put a post on, just to show that there are still some old blues on the forum who didn't go to Heartford.

All the Hertford posts are because I have sent Julian's invitation email to everyone on the Christ's Hospital Girls'School section on Friends Reunited. He had only sent it to the Horsham section and we thought that more women might join if the invitation came from a fellow Old Girl.
