How about in the sofa - I always find the remote control there...

Have you found Jesus then? Because I think I'm found now. Can't remember where I was though - don't think it was under the stairs or in the sofa.

I'm glad you're found! It must have been terrible to have been lost.

Well you see I didn't know it at the time so it didn't feel so bad. But then after a while of posting on the forum, this topic thingy said (FOUND) on it so I must have been...

Well, if you knew where you were, you should have said. Then we could have told you that you were really lost. Then you could have felt a bit frightened and things, and then, when you were found by us (which would have been much easier given that we would have known where you had been lost to), you could have been all happy again at being found. As it is, your lack of courtesy in the matter has deprived us of the joy of finding you at a time when you were suffering (about being lost) and has deprived you of a whole range of life-changing emotions. It certainly spoils all the fun if you are not aware of being lost when you actually really truly are.

Oh no, now I feel terrible. Argh, what have I done? Sorry to everyone who was looking for me when I didn't know I was lost. I didn't mean to be discourteous... I'll have to look elsewhere for the lifechanging emotions.

Don't you feel good that people were looking for you. If people were looking for me, it would probably be because I owed them money or something!

But if Ruth WAS down the sofa when she was lost, they probably would have found loads of old coins too......

Was she found at midnight?

I'm not sure. When I was a child I used to find old peanuts down the sofa... not sure (if I really AM found at the moment, another thread doesn't think so) that I was found with either coins or peanuts.
