Anyone got an old C-90 somewhere with this gem on it. I'm deperate to get a copy and I'm sure lots of other people are too.

I believe that Dad has a copy of the Housey Rap somewhere - given to him by Bob Sillett when he retired...

I have no idea where it is now...

I am sure that one of the people RDTS pulled in for questioning has a copy. I will ask them.

(For the record, these Usual Suspects were, infact, innocent.)

If there is a copy floating around I would love one too - now that I won't get rusticated for being in possession which was the threat at the time if I recall.

I think that Dad's copy may have gone walk abouts at one of my parties...

Hah, amusingly I was just listening to this, and I wondered whether copies had ever leaked online. :) Apparently not reliably, so here's a link...

If anyone cares, the information on Grecians2001 is pretty inaccurate - "Created by a board bunch of Peele A Grecians on the music school computers sometime in 1992". It was actually created in 1990-1991 by a group of five recent old blues (none from Peele A), with the assistance of one deputy grecian who assisted in creating a reference copy of the foundation hymn. I'm pretty sure we posted copies to various known troublemakers who were still at school around Easter 1991.

It was quite amusing hearing the theories (via our undercover dep collaborator) about where it had come from, none of which came particularly close, iirc.

Regards,

MC Poulton.

Takes me back. Sounds a little different to how I remember but absolutely brilliant. Thank you very much.

I remember that his happened about 6-8 months after I'd left in 1990. I was round at a friend's house when my Dad called up wanting me home IMMEDIATELY. Apparently RDTS had called wanting to question me with some urgency because apparently someone had suggested it had been me who'd done the APFA impersonations. Still don't know who'd framed me for it, but one day I will find out!! :D I missed out on a damn good night as a result of RDTS' phonecall.

This link doesn't work anymore. Anyone got an MP3 hiding somewhere with this genius track?

And does anybody know the words, even if the music is lost to us?

I believe the first bit goes thus:

(to a well known tune...)

Praise the Lord for fags and home brew
Rollingup in woodlands fair
Busting, gating, rusticating,
punish us but we don't care.
We can smoke, and we can drink,
but we ain't taking no more crap.
The Bluecoat boys are making noise
so welcome to the Housey Rap!

You still got that mp3, Matt? Would be rather interested if you did!
