How do you take it?

For me, it's 3 sweetners, 1 sugar and leave the bag in!

(not the cargenogenic sweetners, don't worry!)

If it is for more than one I make it in a pot. if it is just me (or we are all having a pint - we all have pint mugs in our house) I make it in the mug, nice and strong, drop of milk and no sugar. However after many years as a midwife (babies don't wait) as long as it is wet I'll drink it.

Preferably PG tips/typhoo or red label, medium strong with milk and half a teaspoon of sugar. And a jammie dodger. Very important is the jammie dodger.

If there is a biccy involved it has to be a Hobnob, once described as The Royal Marine of biscuits because it doesn't go to pieces in harsh conditions.

When the cats wake me for breakfast around 5:00am, its an earthenware pint mug; three teabags, a dessertspoonful of sugar, then back to bed to read for a while !

Sets the day up nicely !

I hate to think of the colour of the inside of your stomach.

As long as it's not cold, with sugar and with ice - yes, you read me right - I'll drink it! Earl Grey, a dash of milk, and some honey goes down wonderfully, though.

Quite strong, a bit of milk and half a teaspoon of sugar...

My own preference is for a porcelain mug of green tea - no milk, no sugar.....

If I have to make a pot of tea to share with someone I use one Earl Grey teabag and one ordinary teabag (both decaffeinated...). Depending on how long you let it brew it makes a very decent cup of tea with an unusual 'twist' to the flavour. If I ever drink Earl Grey on its own, it's fairly weak, no milk, no sugar, but a slice of lemon.

Interesting how people's tastes differ!

I only drink tea if I've got to be polite in company, it's horrible stuff. I don't mind green tea so much.

OK -
Ceylon for breakfast, 1 bag in a 1-pint mug, nuage de lait, 1 sugar

Tea-time : 1 ceylon, 1 lapsang souchong in the teapot, nuage de lait, no sugar

No biccies , I prefer wholemeal bread with either butter & marmite or brie.....
( dont have a sweet tooth, but I'm dangerous around a cheese board..)
