Quite right too, because credit card companies and banks are well known for their efficiency, swift action and empathy for their customers. Anyway, if she was going to die, why couldn't she have done so after the billing date? Sorry to be so impolite butenglishangel wrote:Sounds stupid, but if the executor or whomever had notified the credit card company that she had died none of this would have happened.
Rubbish!!!
After my son died we received a parking ticket from the City of San Francisco. I politely informed them of his death, also advising them that because the courts had not approved the appointment of an executor the charge could not be paid from his estate. I also enclosed a copy of the Death Certificate.
Months later my deceased son received a letter from a debt collection agency giving 5 days from the date of posting (in California) to pay the parking fine plus their charges and expenses or else all credit agencies would be informed of his failure to pay his debts, all his credit cards would be cancelled and they would make efforts to have the banks close all his accounts.
Forum members should be able to imagine by now what my language was like when I phoned them!!!! We didn't hear from them again - I suspect they are still trying to enter their rear orifices!
What happens if a politician drowns in a river? That is pollution.
What happens if all of them drown? That is solution!!!

Anyway, I think that particular combination of letters and asterisks has already been used in another thread, so a precedent has been set.

Don't censor it on my account - I'm all for a bit of earthy language and insinuation. After all, what is private school for but to teach one honest, base, Anglo-Saxon verbiage?Mid A 15 wrote:Should I edit it?cj wrote:OMG, Mid A 15, that's really rude!!!!!!!Mid A 15 wrote:What is 9" long and dangles in front of a c***?
