Sin Bin? Science Block Basement

Post by Twothirtytwo » Tue Jan 12, 2016 9:16 pm

Does anyone remember the basement rooms we were finally allowed to use to listen to music? We were allowed to decorate them ourselves - daring hand prints, silver foil. We sat down there in the dark listening to music on the gramophone. LPs and 45s. Led Zeppelin, the Doors and..... Space Oddity. The memory came back yesterday on the news of David Bowie's death. What a part of CH life that was. How very 'cool' we thought we were..... except that we didn't call ourselves that, I think.
