Who's Blue?

Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, but that's still CH related.

Who's Blue?

Post by John Saunders »

Is there any chance of a new edition of this most helpful volume? Probably too costly to produce. Regards John Saunders

An on-line version should be doable, with the advantage you could search by name, house, year etc.

What is really needed is a twentieth century edition of Ken Mansell's excellent book on Victorian Old Blues entitled "Who was Blue". 1902 to date.
It would only be able to include deceased Old Blues as I know there are 100 year Data Protection issues involved.
Any volunteers out there or should it be put formally to the C.H. Old Blues Association ?

Website is perfect idea. At my advanced age the possibility of computerising the data did not occur to me! JHGS

There was an online version but it seems to have disappeared.

And maybe they could also publish a subsidiary online resource called Who's Fat?, naming and shaming OBs like me who periodically succeed in lowering their weight significantly, only to drop the ball subsequently and pack all the weight back on again.

I really do need an incentive. I've a feeling that the fear of being humiliated in front of my former schoolmates might just work.
