Sounds delightful as well as being educationally innovative. :)

This is Gemma and Josh on Gemma's account giving a comprehensive, detailed and unbiased report pertaining to the hideous rumours which have been spread about the relationship between the two of us.
Just to let you know, Josh is doing all of the hardwork by supplying the words and Gemma is typing and puttin git into useable scentences.
Gemma and I have known each other in person now for 7 days, *though according to Josh, in hourage terms more like 6*.
* Josh just did what every primary school teacher warns about every single day and fell backwards onto the floor bumping his head on the floor due to him rocking his chair too far backwards. Silly Git *
In this time, which was Gemma's new induction week, Gemma had hoped to simply simply stay in the background and be a spectator of the school. Far from this, she has become the subject of countless rumours regarding her and Josh. Namely that they apparently:
a) were going out;
b) Liked each other;
c) and other scandalous stories.
These rumours caused a number of, shall we say, comments to be made, replete with, whistles, winks, nudges, know-what-I-means and say-no mores. :wink: :wink: :oops: :oops:

Gemma and I, at my instigation, decided to bluff these rumours, seeing how far they could go. Sunday gave us 103 in total!

Best thing to do as far as I can see. Give yourselves a good laugh.

I am sure b) is correct as you don't DISlike each other.

p.s. When I was at uni. (when dinosaurs walked the earth) I was part of a group of 3 girls and 7 boys, all joined by our love of good beer. I had been part of the group for about 3-4 weeks so only knew one or two very well.

One evening I was chatting to one of the boys and one of the others leant over and said "when you two get married can I be a bridesmaid?"

WHAT?

If truth be told, it is probably envy that lies at the heart of this little situation, in that people can be very jealous of those who have a grounded, platonic relationship with someone of the opposite gender. Having said that, a little enhancement and addition of detail to provoke tongue-wagging in the interested masses can provide you with some entertainment. We (an interested but gossip-free virtual mass) look forward to hearing more.

I do.

It's nice to have someone who shares your interests.

I am a big SF fan and my husband thinks it's a load of b******s.

Well I must just say that Josh has made more visits to tuckshop in the last few days than in the last 5 years!! ( well maybe not quite more, but....!)

I like your last sentence, cj. May the rumour mills turn merrily.

Hmm. Highly significant. I have seen this again and again. Male meets female. Male, after initial display of brain power/muscular capability has some sort of accident which will make him in need of the female's nurturing attention.

My current husband "fell off his bike" conveniently in the road outside my flat a few days after we had met, for example.

I'm riveted. Keep us posted about progress at the "Love School"!

I'm home now. Not Christ's Hospital so I'm guessing I will be posting far more frequently and there won't be joint posts.

It was in one word........ amazing.

Despite the rumours ( :oops: ) it was the best week of my life. I must have spent nearly every moment possible with Josh so that could have been why the rumours started, or that people at CH have a dire need for new gossip.

I'm so very excited about coming in september and sadly all of my wonderful photos that I took were lost due to a camera mishap. There are very few left. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

I nearly am unable to say anything about it since it all wants to come pouring out of my mouth in a constant stream of squealing ( * Stop It * :D )

Josh is still there obviously and apparantly comments have been coming in thick and fast ever since I left......

It's so good to actualy be able to understand a huge part of what you lot talk about, having actualy been there and gone to lessons etc. And wear the uniform which was drenched in custard on thursday, not my best day!!

I must have been nearly everywhere in that school, around Big Side and all the way to the east Gate. It really is as beautiful and wonderful as I had been imagining.
It was lovely actualy meeting some people of the Forum, Mrs C and obviously Josh.
I can't remember who commentedit but someone said I spent more time in Peele than I did in Prep Block!!! :D

There was only two things that annoyed me
1) They Kidnapped my broadie and I had to wear a Girdle.
2) Prep block was so far from everything. What an utter trek :lol:

Im joking. It was all great, even the fudge yoghuart.

My Marching was abysmal though, I'm so used to ATC marching that I flopped ridiculously. anyway, I'll try to add some pics now
