I can't believe this. I have a colleague called 'Andrew Foster'...

I shall never be able to look at him with a straight face, again. I already refer to him (privately) as 'Werdna Retsof' (which is his name backwards, for those who can't see it!) - but this is MUCH BETTER!

Pakistan - right next door to the biggest opium farm in the world. Thailand/Burma - the second biggest?

Not for long - you can come home now that the British Government has announdced that it will pay UK farmers to grow poppies specifically for the opium. To think that a while ago Britain was the biggest opium trader around.

Ah, I well remember the glorious sight of a poppy field in full flower in the Swat Valley then I realised what the flowers were, so sad such beauty and for what?
