Paul Newman is ageless, my Mum liked him, I like him and my daughter likes him, but he wasn't in 'Some like it hot'. I fear he is not with us much longer.
sorry wrong film, i was in the process of bidding for that on ebay when i typed the previous message so had it on the mind i meant in cat on a hot tin roof!

Oh well, this had to happen sometime (quivery voice) may as well get used to it it hurts I don't pretend otherwise to be called an old lady...

Cheer up Angela! When you do get to be an old lady, you can wear "purple, and a red hat that doesn't go." (etc etc)

I do like that poem, Maggie!

I always have thought that if I ever had a walking stick, I'd be able to make a fun noise running it along railings. Possibly also to ask a policeman if I might try on his helmet - but they may not wear them by then! :( I'd be able to ask George Brad or Patrick to help me across the road! I shall certainly experiment with exciting hair colours.

Perhaps these experiences will be with me soon...

If you look at the beginning I deliberately didn't say girls/ladies etc, so, whatever floats your boat.

now this is interesting that no men have commented. Me and my girlie friends would happily sit there with a group of blokes and also comment on 'fit' girls they like either on the tv, sport etc. In fact only last night was i commenting on the prettiness of Lisa Snowden with my bf whilst watching strcitly! Us girls seem to happily be able to aknowledge when another female is attractive and for waht reasons. Blokes however would not...no way would the bf when watching LOTR last night have when i started to swoon over Aragon and why i liked him put his thoughts in, or when discussing why George is superior to brad say i can see why!
Its funny!

Am I allowed to prefer Sean Connery, rather than these youngsters?

I think I asked that, and all ages have expressed a preference for the 83 year old uxorious Paul Newman, a gentleman, as opposed to the (allegedly) wife bashing Sean Connery.

Not Chaz, JR!

Happily M with 1...I do, like Amy, discuss with my wife what guys seem cute to me and see if we have a point of comparison...then you end up saying.."Why did you chose me?!"

Clooney is a pretty smooth looking guy and so I felt I needed to voice my vote...Bradd Pitt is a baby face, overated star!

i often wonder that as the bf tends to favour the small petite brunetter who is very pretty.....me tall 5'8'' naturally blonde but at the mo a light brown and skinny with long limbs

I watched 'Dusk to Dawn" on the box last night with the said Mr Clooney, and I can see your point.

OTOH - It also starred the brilliant director/producer/actor Quentin Tarantino.

Now there's another point of view !
