In theory, it should be a breeze for England, if Broad & Swan are in the form they showed yesterday. Can we manage to avoid snatching defeat from the jaws of victory?

H2b doesnt think Aus will do it but you just never know with them-as Tuffers said on TMS yesterday evening England tend to get wickets in 2/3's and either early in the day or just after a break-so lets see! Come on Broad and Anderson

Well that was exciting, we were sat on the beach in sandgate in the sunshine listening when Ponting and the next one went-there were a few people along the beach clearly doing the same as us as well yelled and jumped up!

I see the celebrations have been more restrained this time :) what with an international 1day this week-I wander if that put in to help stop any repeat of 2005?

I was nowhere near a TV or radio on Sunday and for much of it did not have mobile reception either!

Very trying for a cricket fanatic at a crucial point of the final test in the series.

Fortunately the scenery and company compensated and it was excellent to hear of our success when later on sunday evening.

We had two big screens running in our local club on Sunday afternoon. (My first full day out after the piggy-disease).

One was showing the Ashes - The other, the Fulham v Chelsea game.

So all in all, with a couple of pints to go with it, my afternoon was excellent !

I believe that Millwall and West Ham had an exciting encounter ---- and, of coursr, the Police are being blamed again !
If you "Kettle" 'em it is against their Human ( ? )Rights, and if you use Riot Shields and Horses, it is Over-reaction.

Perhaps the Police shpuld find a quiet corner, for a Cuppa --- and leave them to it !

I think the police are not being blamed for the fight in the first place but because even though they had 'intelligence' they didn't deploy enough officers.

Shame they weren't like the Yorkshire and Warwickshire cricketers who were sharing a quiet curry in the Scarborough Tandoori tonight. I have photographic evidence, with me in it.
