Another letter today - legible, coherent, virtually no spelling mistakes and both sides of the paper!
How can she manage that in just 10 days? - and favourite subject is Latin!
At least there's one youngster having fun, 70 friends, dancing outside at night and forgot her umbrella when it rained.
Still no mention of food - except the disco snacks.

I heard a rumour that a girl did just that but with a rabbit and she kept it under her bed ! The straw she used for it's bedding gave it away as it was seen by staff !

Hello Grandad....Don't worry chaos will return in your household soon when all three of them are back together!! I can't believe it's only another week till we see her.Latin took me by surprise. All of the form filling and exams etc seem to have been well worth it though and i'm so pleased that she is having a fantastic time.Apparently she loves the food and had smoked mackerel, cucumber, carrots and choccy pudding with choccy custard a couple of days ago and seems to be running out of tuck( I thought she did'nt have enough...but she wouldn't have it!)...she'll learn. I am so proud of my little/big girl and am now comforted to know that we definately did the right thing by applying for CH,i know she'll make the very most of all the opportunities that she has now been given...and I couldn't have wished for any more....One down, just 3 more to go! :D

Thanks Proudmum & welcome to the forum.
Smoked Mackeral sounds about right - she eats a pack on her own for breakfast!
As for the tuck, she had as many cases of tuck as clothes, so that must have gone down quickly!

Pardon my ignorance too, but I think it is something like Theology and Philosophy - is that right?
