Been reading th forum for some time now (2 years or so) but never joined (too shy?).

Yes my DD should start in September.

I'm looking forward to the New Entrants Day on May 6th. My daughter is in Barnes A which she is pleased about !
The Sports Kit list looks a bit scary doesn't it !

Mine is in Peele A - right at the end of the Avenue! That should get him fit and thin. Do you think they put the chubbiest kids in the houses furthest from dining hall and lessons? I must take a look at the rest on NED to see if my theory is right.
Rather scarily a friend of mine has just told me that NED has been moved to another weekend, she thinks, which she got from another mum of a child who is supposed to be going. Is this true? Anyone know? Must ring school today to check. Surely not?

No they would have told us by now. Don't think your chubby theory can be right though as my DD is quite close to the food !!

Well my son is definatly not chubby! In fact I've not seen any chubby children at CH - must be all the sport they do!

Agree with Pinkhebe, havent seen any 'chubby kids' at CH. Just very tall ones!

My DS is in Peele B - he's neither chubby or sporty - he just doesn't like the food at school very much.

My DD received details of who she will be Nursemaid to in September! She is SO excited! She's spent three days composing a letter to send her. The girl in question is very sporty ... not my DD's thing at all! Apparently there's been a real buzz around this house this week in anticipation of NED and then their arrival in September! It's lovely to think that all this preparation was happening a year ago in advance of my DD's arrival! If the parent of the girl in question is on the forum - Welcome to Barnes B!
