Oh right! Oh, more than anything it was surprise at seeing that kind of thing go in, not the timing etc - I laughed a fair amount when I saw it!

Good to see that the site that has the info - the real stuff! - is recognised at last.

Merry Christmas everyone!

No offence was intended. Guidelines given by the OB section editor were followed strictly.

Have a great holiday and be good for Santa.

I too was very pleased to read such a different article in there. Hopefuly will have intrigued enough people to come back and visit....well, we can but hope!

Josh - keep being yourself, and don't submit to the dark-side of conformity and blandness! Sounds like you're still enjoying all your activities.....

Eruresto wrote:Oh, just thought I'd say: a very interesting article in the Blue about the UCHF - if interesting is the right word...curious might be a better one. Tantalising stories indeed...!

I have been unable to find "The Blue" online so this and the subsequent posts come across to me as total gibberish.

Like the snowflakes BTW

Yes, the latest The Blue isn't available online yet - haven't heard actually, but am expecting to hear and get a copy of the pdf at some point soon....we can then upload it to the CHA website when we get it.

When it IS uploaded, it'll be here:-

Hi Everyone,
It seems like ages since I last posted and to be honest it really has been ages. I'm nearly going back and strangely it feels like an age since I donned Housey and walked through Quad even though it's only been around 3 weeks.
Gosh, I must have been mad when I signed up to help with the entrance exams, I suppose it's an excuse to bring my stuff back early though so that's good. Ah!, I've got exams in what, 10 days and I can't help but want to go to sleep and forget about them completely. It must be insanity to take further maths. I don't even like maths!.
I really miss my freinds, having made some quite good ones in my time at CH who are all lovely so it will be lovely to see them all again and have a chat. One thing I'm not looking forward to however is sorting out the absolute mess that is my wardrobe.
Let me explain.... Having been in quite a rush to do last minuite packing and knowing that one is allowed to leave stuff in the wardrobe, leaving stuff int he wardrobe turned into quickly shove everything in there with no sense of order and lock the door and Yes, I do regret it now.

Thankfully I only have 3 modules in january which is a lot less than some people but having all three modules be maths...... I rest my case.
I can't believe no one told me that christmas at CH was so fun despite the amount of end of term tests teachers feel inclined to give you ( AHHHH!.) The carol service was lovely ( and having seen Kerrensimmons at the public one was a large treat to my day. It was really nice seeing you!. shame I was in a rush due to dinner and then front of house duties :) ) and the christmas party was quite hilarious. It really gave a feeling of christmas so that when I went home it felt like christmas was already over.
At the moment I'm trying to decide whether to take the smart route and revise more maths ( if possible! ) or to attack the mess that is my room currently ( to be honest I still havn't completely unpacked. ).
Maths it is...........

Good to see you back, Gemma, and to see that you are subject to the terrible choices which have dogged your predecessors for the past 450 years like "do I want three or four slices of toast and will it be strawberry jam or marmelade?" Choices, choices ......!

I guess that you are all "sleeped-up" in preparation for another term of theses, tests and riotous behaviour. Enjoy it whilst you can

Peaceful, JR? You must be joking. There won't be anything 'peaceful' about Gemma's return to CH and the rigours of next term (especially if it starts off by her having to empty and sort out a (presumably) smelly, untidy and possibly disgusting wardrobe.....)
Only teasing, Gemma! I am glad you had a great Christmas even before Christmas came (and yes I enjoyed meeting and hugging you.. we must do it again!). Enjoy your last few days of freedom before you lug yourself, your bicycle and three red suitcases back down to Horsham!

Alas!. You are under the impression that I actualy took that bedraggled rusty piece of metal home with me. It is ( hopefully ) still locked outside Col B waiting for new brakes ( for you could hear me coming from all the way down the Avenue ) to be attached and for it to be de-rusted from the winter weather.
My Wardrobe is messy!. None of the other things thank you very much!, how dare you impune my honour in such a way. :x

OK.. sorry for appearing to dishonour your honour (no offence intended). In a way I am glad to hear that at least the left behind bicycle (however rusty.. you never mentioned that aspect...) is not also in your wardrobe in House at CH..... Just think how ghastly things would be if it were. Let's hope the bike is still where you left it, and that your luggage back to school can accommodate at least a small can of oil? as well as new brakes and any other new spare parts of which the said article may be in need?

As one of the working population I have been deterrred from reading this thread by its length. Can anyone produce a summary?

I got into CH. I asked some questions. It ended up as 78 pages of randomness occasionally interspersed by things that happened throughout the course of a year.
