Mine also arrived in the post today, was rather

at the prices, so I'm very pleased that I'm off to the thrift shop, hopefully they'll have some stuff in j's size.

I hope you are lucky in the Thrift shop Pinkhebe, have just added up the items above and they total £177.58 (taking the more expensive prices).

The kit is expensive, no doubt about that, but it is very good quality and washes really well. You can save a few pounds here and there, maybe get plain hockey socks rather than the Kukri ones, or maybe one pair of Kukris for matches and a few plain ones for practice. The girl's Kukri shorts probably aren't necessary, some plain blue ones will be fine, because the girls tend to wear the skort a lot and it's very popular. Just get one CH logo white shirt, and get plain ones for practices and PE lessons. That list is just the Kukri kit, there's also a house hockey top and a house polo shirt, which I think are still supplied by Broadbridges rather than Kukri.

I just want to echo what Lonleymom says - they don't need everything to be crested. Plain shirts and navy shorts/tracksuits are fine for any non-match stuff. Plain white polo shirts are fine and students will not be told off. Team players will need crested kit for their matches.
Block shirts are £30 ish and are needed.

Having been to the thrift shop this afternoon, I would just like to anounce that Matron Lewis is an absolute star, and apologies to other parents of 11 year old boys if there is nothing left on Sunday
I was amazed by the amount of 'stuff' you can buy, birthday cards, age badges, stationery, and all very neatly displayed.
I am very happy with the amount of money we have saved, and considering my dh is facing redundancy, that couldn't have come at a better time.
We had planned on popping into the tuck shop but we were sidetracked by seeing Atticus and her lovely daughter
