Thanks again, Sergiu. I had managed to decipher most of it, but I didn't get a sort of 'I've translated Linear B' feeling once I'd finished.......

One odd thing was the use of 'j' to convey a 'y' sound - reminds me of Latin......!

MY favourite bit, (week 5 I think) was Josh teaching Gene Simmons, "Please take your clothes off and lie on the bed", in Elvish. I thought it was hilarious.

They were surprisingly good at Hammersmith - how brave must they have been - I couldn't have done that...

I agree, thought they all did really well, especially the rock chicks (who's vocals were a good touch I thought) and the drummer. I notice that The Class track isn't on the soundtrack CD.....surely?

I thought they were pretty good, too.

I was getting ready to cringe a bit but it all seemed to work out fine!

Sorry to drag this out of the grave, but I just thought I ought to say that if anyone is interested, I've managed to get hold of, via a cable and the DVD, a recording of the song live. It's not terrific quality since I basically piped it onto my laptop, but it has album art etc, so if you want it, I can email it to you.

Josh,
If you're happy to have it hosted for download, I can give you an FTP server account to upload it to for people to download?

Cheers,

J

That sounds like a good idea - I'll have to wait till I get home though since FTP doesn't work here!

Thanks :D

Josh - if you can get it on a CD, and find me at Old Blues day on Sunday (apparantly I'll be wearing some sort of badge for the CHA board!) then I can upload it when I'm home again on Monday....
Would be good to meet you anyway, so hopefully that'll work?
