My last car was mine for 22 years and I think I cleaned it about once every one or two years
My new one I have washed about 3 times but am about to give up as cars become filthy again within a day or two because of the constant building / renovation work all over this city

I clean my cars when they`re new (new to me, that is!) - but after about 2 or 3 washes I give up - they only get dirty again! Thereafter they only get washed when the colour isn`t visible any longer!

I agree - the interior of both Jane and my car have been a disgrace for the past 15 years
The one I really hate is when they spill milk or yoghurt and you dont know until the smell gets REALLY disgusting after a week or two

Amazing? Maybe if it was a higher spec model. An early R100 with minimal rust is very unusual and worth a post. What's wrong with having soapsuds around it? Gives a good snow/ice effect as pointed out.
