Always strawberry and served on those metal plates.

I still swear the pips were tiny wood chips !

Of course not!! The finest homemade - from CH apples, blackberries and elderberries!!
my daughter tells me that their matron said it was the best jam she`d tasted and that she could taste the freshness!!! ( not sure which type she had, but anyway...!)

There are rumours that there will be an abundance of the more highly esteemed Cornish version available on Old Blues Day.

A litle typo there, DBTS, the inferior Cornish version ... And then of course there's the age old argument as to whether you put the cream on first with the jam on top, or jam first with cream on that. Ponder on that a while, forum members.
