Yes, well... ehem. J.R. is known for his...shall we say slightly dodgy? sense of humour - he seems to be able to find innuendo in everything.
Do put it up, yes! I'd be glad to read it - we didn't get to write coursework!

haha sounds like MANY people i know
anyway coursework is brilliant if you're someone like me who tends to get severely paniced by exams! History Coursework was THE best as if we hadn't finished it we could go sit in our deputy head/histry teachers office and do it whenever we wanted. He'd give us sewwts and biscuits and tell us stories about his pet monkey charlie! plus for my first set of RS C/w i went to a church and the vicar let me try on all his cloaky things and play on the organ! it's a real shame it's being got rid of, it's really fun!

It never occurred to me it was plural. But assuming it is, then I'd guess "insignium".

Surely this only comes as a singular, but there is nostrum
Prior-to-full-lactation secretions

Colostrum! Intriguing, Caroline!
One might need to know the plural if referring to the colostrum of
several new mothers? Or, indeed, loads ands loads of them. A
multitude of new mothers.
I'm guessing at "colostra"?

Can either be colostra, colostrae or colostrum, colostri. I think we want the latter.
Meaning beestings (first milk from a cow after calving); term of endearment
BTW: Those nouns I previously called 4th Declension, are actually 3rd. Sorry.
Colostrum!

Not just first milk from a
cow after calving, Josh! Colostrum is the highly concentrated initial secretion of the breasts of a new mother, and very good for a baby! On day three she produces normal breast milk. Where is Mary V when you need her?
However, Josh (you clever colostrum you

) midwifery may not be your thing at the moment.....

Driving son and friend to Cambridge for an airsoft skirmish.
Miss Satnav sent us via Baldock and Letchworth (I usually go on the M11) and coming back on the M11 I was very grateful, it was packed northbound, and this was after 10pm.

Cheers! It must pertain to all mammals - I remember it from when our sheep were lambing. However I did feel rather like a dairy heiffer last time with Cora when I had to express
because of bleeding nipples. Oh the joys to look forward to in August. I guess I should start applying the surgical spirit now.

It does indeed
As for sore pointy bits - NZ remedy is lanolin. Can't stand the stuff myself.
Having worked for a company that processed colostrum I often had to write documents that included the word.
Our Lab Manager (a chauvinistic, bullying bas^ard) always corrected my use of 'colostra', and since I'm sure that he had never had a Latin lesson in his life, I wasn't happy about agreeing with him.
I'm a great believer in going round bullies/walls/other obstacles, rather than trying to go through them, so used to compromise with 'colostral samples'
