I was being a bit rude about Morris dancers

I always think there's something sinister about them

The film captures that very English exclusive society/small town mentality gone wrong

I recommend it but as I said before not for the faint hearted...

They've been showing it on cable tv over here, and yes, Dustin Hoffman was in it.

Not in the film. She was from the village but returned with her American husband, Hoffman, who seemed unable to get the hang of a non automatic car.
