Bother - I'd set aside this Sunday for that very purpose.

Can I do it please, or is it just those three you named who can't?

Women cannot parachute on a Sunday in florida, and surely it is Jeb Bush not Judd.

The Green Man is the Wetherspoons at Bank tube (so not far from Cannon Street station).

I'll try and get some directions/ a map posted on the CHA website.

Kate
If said pub is going to be full of YOBs , is there an alternative watering-hole where aged OBs can/will meet, or will there be a roped-off area in the Green Man for us & our zimmer frames ?
Only this is my first time, and I'm feeling a bit timid here...

You might find these directions helpful, even though I'm not attending.

My Zimmer Frame didn't pass its M.O.T.

I note the review states it as 'noisy' and 'a pub to avoid !!'

Well it's full of suits but it does become full of Old Blues - and often it's the company that makes the place!

Has anyone got the timings for St Matt's? I've got to go to my sister-in-laws wedding in Kent that day too, so I may be able to juggle times and see the first bit and get the train from Cannon St.....

That's probably something to do with it being a Wetherspoons and cheap and thus attracting the type of clientele who are maybe more concerned about the price of a pint than others - especially in the City. But then I've only been to a couple of dozen pubs in the City of varying styles and prices so my research isn't extensive.

That explains why Great Plum is all in favour, then ?
