My therapist says I have a preoccupation with vengeance. We’ll see about that.

I just love the playful way in which young Charlie is landscaped with two prominent hilly mounds and such wonderful orange foliage. I've yet to see her water feature but I'm told it's very impressive...
Oh no - I'm going off on a tangeant just like Soc said!!! Anyone want a free rugby ticket?

Well you missed quite a good game. Spent most of the day recovering after one too many beers in The Green Man with Great Plum and Co last night. Glorious weather, good hot dogs, nice cold beer and an incident filled 80 minutes - absolute bliss!

There was a bit of handbags, yeah! Quins flanker Will Skinner got a yellow for a really stupid late tackle on Burke. Even all the Quins fans I was sat with whinced when he clattered into him. Varndell scored a good try within a couple of minutes of kick-off although the pass to him was a bit forward. He's an impressive looking player Varndell, he's very tall and built more like a forward but he is a bit clumsy - I lost count of the number of fumbles and knock-ons he had. Ugo Monye was pretty good too with a couple of good runs and a try saving tackle on Varndell but overall Leicester had more class - Hipkiss, Harry Ellis and Ollie Smith all stood out for me.soc wrote:Glad you enjoyed it Marty. Any punch ups or was it just a good hard fought game?

Monye looked really good. Perhaps a year in Nat. 1 has improved his overall confidence.
I thought the Quins pack were surprisingly good, considering who they were up against.
Still think Quins are in for a difficult season, though.
