The sad thing is that our army, navy and air force are so small that we actually need the defence systems for our defence. When we can convince other people to talk rather than fight, then and only then can we lay down our arms. It is all very well saying lead by example and disarm first, the trouble is that outside forces will say, great an easy target. Al Quida sure would!

there isn't a giggly/snorting icon with coffee coming down the nose so I will just have to be graphic and tell you what happened.

Back to Al Quida then.

Youngest daughter has a woman on her staff, thats an absolutely fabulous person, but lets say a little late when turning the light bulb on.

We were all round youngest daughters, in the kitchen, admiring some kitched trinkets, Lia, (daughter), had bought in Ram Jams Pound shop in Crawley.

"Ooooh. They're lovely !" coos friend. "Where did you get them ?" she asks.

"The Crawley Pound store !" Replies daughter.

"Did they cost much ?" Asks friend.

"A fiver each !" Replies Lia.

"That's very good value !!" States friend.

At this point, the light bulb illuminated. We've NEVER let her forget it.
