BTW I have a date for your diaries

well Mr P's diary if no one else...

Wassailing the apple trees in Maplehurst is taking place on Sat 6th Jan 2007. Except it might be Fri 5th because the Broadwoods have a prior commitment on the Sat. Simon (landlord of local pub, White Horse) wants it to be one or the other specifically but John the cider man wants Sat so less people come (they tend to trash his orchard if there are lots).

So basically I don't know which day it is but will repost when I do if I remember.

Oh and there's lots of free cider to drink so it's worth going...

Horsham Beer Festival 2007 is on
Sat and Sun 29th and 30th September 2007.

tickets are likely to be £5 although they may stay at £4

you get a programme with beer listing, a free comemorative glass and access to some stunning beer (for which you pay to drink)

tickets are likely to sell out before the end of July

Why advertise something if they don't want too many people to come?
