And the 83, 84 and 86 will take you into Plymouth.

FTOYWAI Drake Circus shopping centre has just opened - millions of £s on a design that is 20 years old and hasn't been updated. Know locally (and fondly) as 'The Arse' and described by one architect as "utterly inexcusable", it's the talk of the town. At least it is if you live in SW Devon. 60,000 shoppers visited on its first morning in business, dodging the diggers and last-minute landscapers. Have these people nothing better to do than visit all the shops that used to be in Plymouth, but are now located in a building that looks like a pair of buttocks? But even more scintillating is the news that at least 'some' old people went to a planning meeting in Tavistock to protest against a new visitor centre (we are now a World Heritage Site!!) because the old toilets would have to be knocked down to make way for it. This was front page news.

No pictures of the Arse. Tried to get the Devon webcams site but it's out of commission which is a shame as it listed 'Donkeys indoors' and 'Donkeys outdoors', as well as a 'Badgercam', which I thought you may have been interested in. Sorry to have let you down!

Having had the misfortune of living in Plymouth, I'm pretty sure the place is the Arse of Devon...

Happy Birthday, Julian and thanks again for all you have done for us OBs - here on the Forum, on the CHA website and as a member of the Board of the CHA. You achieve so much without making a lot of fuss, but we really are grateful. May you have a wonderful birthday today and a great year ahead.
