I've always wondered exactly what a "blow job" is and never quite liked to ask anybody; now I think I have learned.

i doubt customs would notice. they'll happily take your nail clippers off you but when i flew from the UK to austria about 6 months ago they didn't notice 4 throwing knives in my carry-on luggage

about a month before a friend of mine flew with several live shotgun cartridges in his jacket pocket, walked through security and no-one even realised

(both of these were accidental, we are not weapons smugglers, but HMC&E are muppets)

I would agree that most airport security arrangements are poor and inconsistent.
In Valencia they make you take off your belt and have stopped my brother-in-law for carrying a toledo souvenir paper knife, shaped like a sword, but have never picked up my swiss army knife.
In London they make you take off your shoes but seem not to worry about belts.
In Cancun,Mexico they have just jailed a spanish girl who had explosives in her carry on bag. They were in an outer pocket of her bag, don't have her finger prints on and she claims they were planted as part of the Mexican authorities efforts to prove to the US that they are part of the anti terrorist effort.
My late father was an explosives liaison officer with the Met and had to look at airport security, which he felt was a laugh (this is some years ago). The sniffer dogs couldn't identify anything.
Mind you, he was not one to talk as after he died, I discovered explosives and detonators in the garage that he had been using for demonstrations at police stations. The police were not amused and cordoned off the road whilst they searched the rest of the house.
But that's another story.

I'm glad you're relieved, but did you need to do it so many times?

Well, I'll do my best to forget it Ruth. But memory is a rum thing; that which one would forget, one remembers, and that which one would remember is forgotten. ..... what were we saying ...??

.... what is more I found that my multipost was not eradicable because it said I had replied to myself. Hence I did it twice.

Does this double posting thing happen a lot and should I be wary of it happening to me.
