On sunday my parents said it was 21c in CH at about 11am then when they got to us in Kent it was 15 brezzy and overcast! I am contemplating get tights on again but that would cover up the brown legs i have managed to get already!
Gorgeous hot sun here, Amy ..... even the breeze has died down. Leave those tights off and come down here for some special Cornish sunbathing :)

Ok - another phone pic taken at low tide this morning as I rowed out to the boat. The house is actually not as grand as it looks (and we only have the half on the left). But it is lovely all the same and faces due south. As you can see, we even have our own little beach and a small cove for the dinghy just behind the rocks in the foreground.

My parents sold their two up and two down in Surrey in 1955 and bought this with the proceeds - what a snip!

Yet another glorious day with wall to wall sunshine, calm seas and a light breeze.

It's only 34 deg C. here and 100 deg humidity and some of the classrooms don't have A/C so stop moaning.

You will notice Tim that everyone stopped after May 5th. After the warmest and possibly the driest April on record, with everyone yelling GLOBAL WARMINGand DROUGHT ORDER, since the beginning of this month we haven't had a day without rain and temperatures have plunged into single figures. If it wasn't still light at 9pm you would think it was late October rather than May.

Haven't heard from you for ages! How is life in S America?

btw it's half term this week in Devon, and it has rained almost every day, I think. We went to see donkeys yesterday. Just as well there was a play area under cover because it p*ssed down all afternoon. And it was so cold I had to wear two jumpers, a jacket and a rain coat. Global warming, my @rse!! I feel like the moistened bint from Monty P and the Holy G.

Yes, when I get ticked off. A bit like Chris Tarrant.

2 new water butts delivered yesterday p.m. Both full this morning. Tomatoes in hanging baskets starting to form- the baskets hardly need watering at all in this weather.

I think I am developing webbed feet.
