Meanwhile, back in the real world ... I haven't dared show my husband the response to the advert so far. He'll think you're all one sponge pudding short of a CH dinner.
Still for sale: Casson Positive organ with transposable keyboard. Rescued from Colyton chapel, Devon in 1991.
Currently dismantled, ready for reassembling and restoration. Tallest pipe approx 8’ (16’ tone pipe can be removed for use as a chamber organ). Wooden stopped pipes complete. Larger metal pipes have some damage. Comes complete with disc blower.
For transport purposes would fit into a transit van. Currently held on pallets in secure storage in mid-Devon.
£100, but offers considered. Buyer collects.

Wouldn't you have better luck on eBay? I doubt if that many organ enthusiasts visit here...
Alternatively, I have an cousin who's a major church organ geek... I could ask him where the best place to advertise is if you like.

We could try e-bay. Thanks, Reuben I hadn't thought of that. I've also emailed the adverts bloke for The Organ magazine. If you wanted to ask your cousin, that would be most helpful too, but only if you want. In reality, my husband is a bit loath to get rid after all these years, but we're unlikely to be living in a house with enough space for a long while, if ever.Reuben wrote:Wouldn't you have better luck on eBay?
