Where is Caroline? Has she taken a flying visit to Thailand and as a result we will never again hear from Phil? My money's on her, she was trained in 6s after all!!!
Caroline?

The same thought had occurred to me, Katharine. Philip, speak! Even now his drama students may be forming a singing circle around him.
A 6's girl is a power which he will never have encountered before. Our esteemed Caroline, too! May the 6's Force be with her. Nobody calls me "Ange", nobody!
Awaiting news from foreign parts.

Rumous of my de- oh, hi Car- eurgkk........
Don't worry, my house is completely surrounded by an impenetrable ring of Buddhist monks, who will smile wisely at anyone coming to cause me harm.

Hello Possums
I discovered the forum the day after watching Colin Hayes (who wrote you know what) performing you know what, accompanied by his eccentric peruvian wife on mouth flute, and had the song buzzing incessantly through my head as I tried to think of a sign in.
I did ponder the veracity of the name, as I am resident down under, and do have citizenship of the land down under, but am I really from Battersea? Decided, since Colin Hayes is a Scot, that it was probably OK, so imagine my dismay when I found Phil's post.
I do confess to being eternally grateful that I only ever had to type it once, into my profile, and that I would otherwise have changed it for something that requires considerably less key strokes.
Sadly Phil, if I were to change my 'name' I would lose my current status, and return to being a squib, er a pleb, er whateva, so I must refuse your heartfelt request
Off for a vegemite sandwich, and then to check any chunder I come across for carrot chunks
Hmmm, not so funny when I remind myself that I am going to spend the next 6 months collecting and analysing saliva from at least 300 people.
Toodles.
xx
Sick!

Here is a splendid type of specimen for Caroline to analyse. I can't think it would stay down for long.
Eurgkk!
I don't think I have heard of anything so disgusting for a while.
Really Barbara?

Angela, it's a Belgian delicacy...
May I say how delighted (and relieved) I am to see that Caroline is safe and well and in Australia... the monks have returned to their temple...
and how disappointed I am that no one recognised that all of the "I'm going crazy" comments in my original posting above were song titles/lyrics!

And I meant to add, Caroline, that I daresay you'll be spitting mad after six months.

I think NONE of us agreed with you. well except cj
I wasn't here to agree, object or abstain! I always read Caroline's name as 'i come from alan down under' which makes no sense. Back to the point, I quite like the song and the length of the name and would vote "NO" to change. Sorry, Ajarn.
